keep to you're road

I think I’m gonna keep to this road
until I find an end
I’d like to stop and rest awhile
and remember long past friends

seems the path I traveled
was full of bumps and holes
coulda made some better choices
coulda found some better souls

but no point in worryin about those days gone past
cause there’s one thing I learned
and that's that the good times fly fast

walking to my ready made grave
with a melloncollie heart
and a soul that’s on its way

I stop to gaze at the setting sun
I waited there for the moon to come
I look to the stars for a guiding light
they didn’t respond
as I hoped they might

so I guess the future that I seem to bare
is somewhat dim, somewhat unfair
but there’s nothing I can do but walk on by
just keepin to my path
and not question why
